Who We Are:

Our corporate family was originally started many, many years ago by Donald J. Todd.  As is currently the case, we were focused on quality service to individuals and small businesses.  Many of Don's original clients have remained to date.
Several years ago Loren Bult was added to the team.  Loren came with several years of Big 5 tax expertise specializing in corporate compliance and real estate & investment partnerships as well as a long family history of small business ownership.  Since coming aboard, Loren has been involved in every aspect of our firm.  On January 5, 2004, the reigns were passed from Don to Loren and our new company was founded, L.R. Bult & Associates, LTD.  Although our name and leadership has changed, our friendly service and quality work hasn't.

L.R. Bult & Associates, LTD. is dedicated to providing high quality accounting and income tax planning skills to our close knit community of individuals and small businesses.

Our Team:

Loren R. Bult, CPA: Loren has several years of "Big 5" tax expertise specializing in corporate compliance and real estate partnerships.  In addition, Loren currently serves as a, the Treasurer for the Calumet City Chamber of Commerce, is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and until May of 2007, was elected to and served in office as Trustee for the Village of Thornton .

Donald J. Todd, CPA: Don, fully retired and no longer available, successfully operated his own accounting firm for over 25 years before partially retiring and passing the reigns to Loren.  In recent years Don served as Treasurer for the Calumet City Chamber of Commerce and has given over 20 years of service to South Holland School District 150 in many facets.

Gloria J. Schmittel: Gloria has 18 years of tax preparation experience. Her easy-going attitude and breadth of tax knowledge has been a valuable asset to us.

Betty J. Casault: Betty, our newest member and also a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, possesses an Associate degree in Accounting and has15+ years of small business bookkeeping and accounting.  She also brings 20 years of experience preparing individual income tax returns. 

Rebecca Holdcraft and Audrey Zadrozny: Becky and A.J. have been with us for the past year and ensure records are assembled accurately and timely.  A.J. is also recent T.F. South graduate looking forward to her start at Purdue University Calumet.
